·       I VOTED NOT TO RAISE TAXES

I believe the tax increase was too high in too short of a time period 

·       I VOLUNTEERED TO TAPE THE CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

For the benefit of City Council and to give a broader range of people the chance to view the meetings, unfortunately it was never approved

·       I RECOMMENDED AND VOTED TO MOVE THE COUNCIL MEETINGS TO A LATER TIME

I receive numerous requests that the council meetings be moved to a later time to accommodate more peoples work schedules, however, this did not receive enough votes to pass

·       I VOTED AGAINST LEGALIZING ALCOHOL SALES WITHIN 0 FT. OF SCHOOLS AND CHURCHES

Concerning the safety of our Schools and respect for our Churches, 0 ft. is just too close

·       I VOTED TO HIRE MORE POLICE OFFICERS TO KEEP OUR CITY SAFE

Specifically to fight narcotics and illegal immigrant problems within our community 

      ·   I VOTED AGAINST A STORM WATER RUNOFF FEE  

     ·   I VOTED NOT TO PURCHASE THE LOWLAND SEWER PLANT

             The asking price was too high, if others had not acted so eager to purchase the sewer plant there is a possibility the city could have gotten it cheaper, but this is my personal opinion
